Monday, 03/09/20 - Week 3 Ephesians 2:1-10 - Amazing Grace

"For by grace you have been save through faith. And this is not of your own doing; it is a gift so that no one can boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:8-10. Is there evidence that God is working in you? How would you explain grace? There is only one hero - Jesus Christ! Good works are a result of having been saved. To the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. Let that sink in this Valentine's Day - God’s never ending & limitless love...

Friday, 02/07/20 - Ephesians Study Chapter 6 read through

Paul tells us how to be properly equipped for spiritual battle. The preparation in becoming an effective warrior is finding our strength in the Lord and putting on the full armor of God. Our enemy is Satan and the battle is against demons. We are to stand firm, resist the devil, be sober minded, on alert… “Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith.” 1 Peter 5:8-9. Paul identifies 6 pieces of armor in this chapter: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the sword of the spirit. Paul reminds us to pray at all times in the Spirit making supplications for all the saints.
