Welcome to the Unknown Godcast

"Not to me, O Lord, not to me, but to your name give glory" ~ Psalm 115:1”

We're glad you're here!

WHY THE UNKNOWN GODCAST?

What Is The Unknown Godcast?

The Unknown Godcast is a daily and weekly audio podcast centered on the Word of God.

Each week, we walk through Scripture together reading it out loud, slowing down, and letting it speak for itself. Then we step back and engage the bigger questions examining theology, culture, and current events through a biblical lens.

This podcast is rooted in Bible, inspired by Acts 17:22-28, where Paul the Apostle proclaims the God who was once unknown—but has now been revealed in Jesus Christ.

Our aim is simple: to help make the unknown God known.

Our Format

Monday – Sunday (30–45 minutes)
A daily audio Bible reading,no AI, a real human voice, the Bible read fresh every day, consistent time in Scripture, building a steady rhythm in God’s Word. Each day includes a balanced portion from the Old Testament, the New Testament, a Psalm, and a Proverb, helping listeners take in the full counsel of Scripture over time. We will take a season of simply diving into the Psalms.

Friday (Long-form episode)
A deeper conversation. We take on theology, cultural issues, and current events, seeking to understand everything through the truth of Scripture.

Why This Podcast Exists

We live in a culture that is increasingly distant from God and often resistant to His truth. At the same time, much of what passes for Christianity today can become shallow focused more on self-improvement than on the glory of God.

We believe:

  • God’s Word is not shallow- it is deep, rich, and transformative

  • Truth is not created by culture- it is revealed by God

  • The gospel is not about us- it is about Him

As Colossians 1:15-17 reminds us, Christ is the image of the invisible God, and in Him all things hold together.

This podcast exists to:

  • Read the Word faithfully

  • Think deeply about what it says

  • Engage honestly with the world around us

  • Point everything back to Jesus Christ

What You Can Expect

  • Scripture read consistently and clearly

  • Honest conversations about difficult passages

  • Thoughtful discussion of real-world issues

  • A tone that is direct, grounded, and rooted in truth

  • A community centered on God’s Word

A Note From Us

We are ordinary people reading the Bible and learning alongside you.

We encourage you to:

  • Test everything with an open Bible

  • Stay rooted in a local church

  • Ask questions and engage with the Word daily

Like the Bereans, we want to examine the Scriptures together and pursue truth faithfully.

Our Prayer

That through daily exposure to Scripture and honest conversation, you would not just hear about God but come to know Him more deeply.

The Unknown God (Acts 17:22-28)

"So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: "Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious. For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription, "To the unknown god." What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allowed periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way towards him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, For in him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your own poets have said, For we are indeed his offspring."
