TUG Episode 5 - Gospel Reflections
Missy was challenged to do some daily affirmations and we thought it would be a good idea to try it and see if this would help us and maybe someone who would hear it. However we didn’t want to just stand in a mirror like Stuart Smalley telling ourselves we are good enough and smart enough. Instead we figured it would be better to find affirmations about who God says we are when we are found in Him.
GOSPEL REFLECTIONS
YOU ARE CHOSEN: “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9 ESV
YOU ARE WORK IN PROGRESS: “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6 ESV
